Making Room in the Circle
Resources

PSP's Project and Training Manager, Lee Lesser recently co-authored the article, "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Families: Tools for directors
in supporting staff discussion dealing with fears," with Tracy Burt, Child Development and Family Studies Faculty at City College of San Francisco.
This article was published in the September/ October 2008 Child Care Exchange publication. The article points to the importance of including LGBT families in
early childhood settings and provides strategies on how to open the dialogue and discuss common fears around this subject. PSP has been a leader throughout the
nation in working for inclusion and equity for LGBT families through our Making Room in the Circle curriculum, college courses and trainings.
